During my teenage years, Mom would always emphasize the importance of investment in creating wealth. With both my parents working in a corporation, we probably would not live as comfortable a life now if not for their investments in real estate and stocks (ok, I’ve heard good and bad stories about the latter so not sure about that).
It’s all about making money work for you. Indeed!
Identifying that is the easy part. Now, I still have no clue at how to invest in stocks. But positive thinking alert, better late than never!!
For planning purposes, these are my goals-
- Investment goals: Capital gain of £20,000. Crazy amount for a noob, but not impossible.
- Time Horizon: 2 years (after which I am a quarter of a century years old)
- Type of investment: Equities, ETFs maybe
Well, fingers crossed!
